About Steph

Hi, I’m Steph — an artist and designer based in Perth, creating on Whadjuk Noongar land.

I’ve been painting since childhood and trained as a graphic designer, but it was following a pregnancy loss in 2019 that I returned fully to painting as a way to process, reconnect, and create from a place of feeling. Today, my work is grounded in colour, nostalgia, memory, and the quiet in-between moments of everyday life.

I believe that creativity, in all its forms, has the capacity to heal and elevate everyone, and I aim to carry this energy through every piece I create.

Working with acrylics and oil sticks, I create layered, expressive paintings that prioritise emotion and atmosphere over a literal sense of time or place.

I’ve collaborated with brands including Yogat, Outback Linen Co, Colby the Label, and Peggy Road. In 2025, I was named a finalist in the Soho Studios Art Prize, Inside This Box (The Corner Store Gallery), the Art to Art Unearthed Art Prize, and The Next Big Thing prize with Toowoomba Gallery.

This path hasn’t always been linear, but it’s one I’m deeply grateful to be on. Thank you for being here.
